Day Mode/Night Mode (your system must already be programmed for Day/Night Mode for this to work)

Determine if system is in Day or Night Mode

Note: You must be in programming mode before continuing with programming instructions. To enter system programming mode, be sure the telephone is idle and on-hook. From extension 101 (or system operator extension if different), press PROGRAM * # and your system password XXXX. To exit programming when complete, press PROGRAM or lift the handset. To perform this remotely, you would dial you telephone number where the system is located. You would access extension 101 (or system operator extension if different)

Day Mode/Night Mode How do I change ringing mode?
KX-TDA, KX-TDE, KX-NCP, KX-TAW	Press Time Service Button to change. If Time Service light is off, you are in DAY MODE, Red = NIGHT MODE, Green = LUNCH MODE, Flashing Green = BREAK MODE, Flashing red = HOLIDAY MODE
KX-TD 308	Press DAY key or NIGHT Key to change ringing mode. If no key available press INTERCOM 780 for DAY or INTERCOM 781 for NIGHT.
KX-TD 308/186/1232	Press DAY key or NIGHT Key to change ringing mode. If no key available press INTERCOM 780 for DAY or INTERCOM 781 for NIGHT.
KX-TA1232	Press DAY key or NIGHT Key to change ringing mode. If no key available press INTERCOM 780 for DAY or INTERCOM 781 for NIGHT.
KX-TA 624 KX-TA 824	Press DAY key, LUNCH key or NIGHT Key to change ringing mode. If no key available press INTERCOM 781# for DAY or INTERCOM 782# for NIGHT or INTERCOM 783# for LUNCH.
KX-TD 500	Press DAY/NIGHT Key at main phone. No code available for the TD 500. Program a DAY/NIGHT Key by pressing PROGRAM 99, Press the key you desire to use, Press 73, press STORE, Lift Handset and hang up.
KX-T 308/616/1232	Press DAY key or NIGHT Key to change ringing mode. If no key available press INTERCOM 781# for DAY or INTERCOM 782# for NIGHT.

Determine if system is in Day or Night Mode
From any display phone, with the handset down and the speakerphone off, press the # key. The display will say Day or Night Mode or Lunch Mode. On the KX-TDA systems, press TRANSFER
